Using the Direct PayChek Card
- Purchases
You can use the card to make purchases at any merchant displaying the VISA®
logo. Visually, our card is identical to any other VISA cards.
- Rental Cars
Some rental car companies may require that a credit card be used to make a reservation and will be able to electronically identify that your card is not a credit card. The Direct PayChek Card will always be welcome for final payment (provided the funds are available).
- Phone, Mail Order or Internet Purchase
The merchant will ask for the card number and expiration or “Good Thru” date. Some online and phone merchants will also ask for the three digits printed in the signature area on the back of the card.
- ATM Usage
To use the card at an ATM, you insert the card in the machine and follow the
on-screen instructions to enter your PIN, select a withdrawal amount and request
a receipt. On some machines, you will need to select “checking” as the product
from which the withdrawal is being made (as opposed to “savings” or “credit”).
You may not make deposits to a Direct PayChek Card account.
