Whether your needs are simple or complex, IOI can generate a general ledger report to use to post your payroll journal entries. Depending on the file format you need, we can also produce a file that you can import to eliminate making manual journal entries.

The standard general ledger reporting produces a detail and summary report. You may receive this with each payroll process or at the end of the month. You can provide us with a list of your general ledger account numbers, descriptions and the mapping for earnings, deductions, withholdings and employer taxes. We do the initial setup and produce a report and/or file for you to look over. When everything is finalized, we work with you on the maintenance necessary to add new employees, earnings codes or deductions. By taking advantage of general ledger reporting at IOI, you no longer have to go through multiple reports to pull your ledger figures together, input them on a spreadsheet to balance, then make manual journal entries for them.
